The next research project includes the modal - spectral analysis of a reinforced concrete building with a structural walls system of 5 floors and a roof, for its subsequent design of elements such as columns, beams, slabs, and shear walls. In the first instance, the seismic analysis of the structure is developed using the “ETABS V.20” software, based on a structuring of each its elements based on the architectural plans. This model considers the different seismic variables such as the response spectrum in the structure and the forces supported by the building based on Norma E 0.20 of “Cargas”. After making the final model, the seismic analysis is run, and it must comply with the standards requested by Norma E 0.30 of “Diseño Sismorresistente”. These seismic responses are evaluated to observe which elements are the most important and, in this way, to be able to support out the corresponding design. In the section on the design of structural elements, it is developed based on Norma E 0.60 of “Reinforced Concrete” and this section details the distribution of longitudinal and transverse steel reinforcements. The designed elements are all beams, slabs, a column, and a shear wall. In the case of horizontal elements, they are the specimens that support majority of load and represent the most significant. Finally, the structural plans of the formwork are presented in the typical floor plan of the building.
