In this project, an implementation is carried out to enhance the production process and address issues related to pollination and communication among different areas within an agricultural company dedicated to the mass production of Hass avocados in Peru. The avocado cultivation involves several stages, including harvesting, dormancy, bud swelling, flowering, fruit setting, and fruit development. The primary focus is on the flowering stage, specifically the pollination sub-stage, which is critical for the production of high-quality avocados in large quantities. During this sub-stage, thousands of beehives are used to pollinate avocado flowers, significantly improving both the quantity and quality of avocados produced by each tree. However, the problem arises due to a lack of effective communication among different areas of the company, making it challenging to manage beekeepers. Often, the precise number of beehives needed for each area is not accurately determined, and complications arise in terms of investment with each beekeeper due to their individual beehives. In summary, this lack of communication between the administrative areas and the main avocado orchard negatively impacts avocado production, affecting the company's revenue and its ability to provide high-quality products to both local and international customers. Therefore, this professional sufficiency project will introduce various engineering tools to help mitigate or eliminate the problem.
