The growth in the E-Commerce market in our country has been exponential in recent years, about 150% per year. The pandemic that occurred between 2020 and 2022 boosted its growth due to the need to satisfy a demand according to the challenges of this situation. Likewise, companies that did not have this model in their offer have seen the need to adopt it. In addition, the growth of the options in the offer has increased considerably, with which the demand increases, and this situation generates new challenges for companies in the search for efficiency. Likewise, the need to increase market share by reducing costs to improve margins is a recurring need. This work evaluates a problem in the international e-commerce business of a leading company in the sector in Peru. The problem is the high rate of customer cancellations which impacts in the sales due the refunds to customers for such cancellations. In 2022, the cancellation rate was 6.2%, causing an economic impact of 3.3 million soles. Using industrial engineering tools, its main causes were diagnosed, which were: processing delay by Sellers (24%), replenishment delay (21%), stock outage (19%) and inventory difference (14%) and order processing errors (8%). Then, suitable industrial engineering tools were selected that can improve these gaps. The selected tools were the SLP (Systematic Layout Planning) to implement two outsourced Fulfillment warehouses, the historical projection method and the reorder point method to adequately manage the demand and supply forecast. Finally, because of the project, the cancellation rate were reduced by 2.4%, obtaining an incremental sales projection in 2023 of 2.2 million soles, which would represent 4% of annual sales.
