The integration of simulators in medical education is essential for students to acquire skills in a safe environment, allowing the absence of errors and the improvement of procedures without risk for patients. This technology reinforces trust and professional security, being a crucial component in the training of health professionals. The use of simulators, like Noelle's, is essential to align the training of students in women's health care, offering a complete and effective solution in the management of normal, complicated births and postpartum situations. The analysis of failure-prone parts in the Noelle simulator highlights the importance of preventive and corrective maintenance. Critical areas were identified, such as seizures and epidural injection, that due to disuse or lack of care require adequate maintenance to preserve their functionality and prolong the useful life of the simulator. It is proposed to improve the simulation of crises in the simulator by incorporating an actuator controlled by a programmed microcontroller, which would manage three states: off, mild crisis and intense crisis. This approach seeks to achieve a more realistic and controlled representation of seizures during medical training. Likewise, to perfect the epidural injection technique, the design of a structure that will house switches will be carried out, which will act as indicators to evaluate the correct execution of the injection. It should be noted that the proposal considers the functionality and extension of the useful life of the simulator without incurring significant costs.
