The annual production of industrial beer in Peru exceeds 14 million hectoliters, this sector contributes significantly to the economy, generating 18 billion soles in taxes in the last five years. In 2021 it represented 0.6% of GDP and 4.4% of industrial GDP. In September 2021, the brewing industry reached a utilization rate of 91.6%, that is, 10 percentage points below 2019, which indicates the need for savings to optimize processes. The optimization of the efficiency of the line in the present implementation work is based on the reduction of the loss values of beer extract because these help the objectives regarding savings as a plant, since they are the main factors when being a new plant in Peru. The third chapter shows the development of the implementation of the solution with the DMAIC tools of Lean Six Sigma and standardization of work methods, which begins with a percentage level of loss of 17.19% and with the solution we achieved improvements reaching values of 9.47% . The fourth chapter shows the savings obtained from the implementation of the improvement, reaching an approximate amount of S/. 596 466.09 due to standardized work methods following good work practices, this is achieved through the collaboration of users of the brewing processes.
