In this work, we describe the improvement proposal for a company in the logistics sector, which provides storage and distribution services. The case of the company in the storage area where the problem of the low level of service related to the processes of inbound, picking, and outbound was analyzed. In this case study, the Lean Logistics methodology was applied, in which the lean system tools were used to carry out process improvements and increase productivity. The improvement proposal was developed according to the roadmap proposed for the Lean implementation. The tools that were used were the following: 1) Value Stream Mapping 2) 5S 3) Process Improvement 4) Standardization of processes 5) KPI. These tools were used to identify tasks that do not contribute value to the processes, reorganize the area, reduce unnecessary time, standardize processes, and implement indicators to measure the improvements implemented. As a result, the reduction of undelivered units from 3,481 units to 1,611 units was obtained, which translated into an increase of the service level percentage by 4.2% monthly.
