The confectionery sector presents different problems at the production level, the low used capacity of the plant being one of the main ones, this is due to the fact that many of the processes do not present adequate management of productive resources in coordination with operational performance of the system, which generates economic losses due to the demand not covered by the industry. In general terms, it can be mentioned that if the plant shows a large dimension, there will be an idle part causing the cost value of the product to grow and if, on the other hand, the plant shows a minimum dimension, there may be a low attention to demand. From the market; directly affected the relationship with customers, being an important analysis factor given that the extension of the plant is considered a detractor, in order to obtain a higher percentage of efficient use and benefit or gain from an investment. Various authors have implemented tools such as Lean Manufacturing individually to solve causes through different approaches such as time incurred and configuration in carrying out unnecessary activities. To this end, I present a proposal to improve the production process in a comprehensive manner, which allows concrete results to be obtained, such as an increase in quality and productivity in order to obtain the desired economic benefits. The added value of the improvement proposal is reflected in the solution model, which shows the union and complement of three engineering tools, which through a continuous improvement approach seeks to increase the used capacity of the company under study, reflecting the results in an increase in the company's sales.
