This professional work is carried out in a company that offers repair and maintenance services for medium and low voltage transformers, as well as for electric motors and generators. These services are provided to companies in various industrial sectors in Peru. When analyzing the company's situation, it was observed that the NPS (Net Promoter Score) indicator showed a result of -2%, showing that there is a greater number of detracting clients compared to promoters. This unfavorable rating was mainly due to delays in the delivery of services, which put the retention of existing and new contracts at risk. Likewise, it was found that sales in the period from January to July 2023 showed a decreasing trend of 18%, equivalent to S/40,445, when the moving average from January to March is compared with May to July 2023. When analyzing the causes of these problems, factors were identified, such as lack of time control, absence of process mapping, lack of work standards, lack of signage in workshop areas and inadequate stock management. in the spare parts warehouse. To address this problem, an investment project of S48,643 was implemented to implement the Lean Service methodology and apply the 5 S's and SMED tools. The project had financing of S/20,000 with a rate of 15.5%, an IRR of 74.7%, NPV of 119,230 and a return rate of 3.5 years. The objective of this implementation was to reduce activities that do not add value, with the purpose of improving the times of the equipment repair processes in the workshop. As a result of this project, a significant improvement of 4.6 hours was achieved in the time required to carry out repairs, which translates into an annual saving of S/. 33,909.
