In Peru, the total export of powdered tare in 2018 was 26,471 tons and of tare in rubber of 2,750 tons. The company where we will carry out the investigation is dedicated to the manufacture of tare powder and rubber for export and it was determined that it has a low productivity index of 1.39 of the production of tare powder with respect to the results of the competition. The importance of increasing the productivity index leads to better competitiveness as required by the foreign market. The effort to improve processes in production is produced by reducing waiting times, defects, and transfers. Motivation is based on the requirement for continuous and flexible improvement of processes, achieving international competitiveness. The contribution of the development of the improvement proposal using Lean Manufacturing tools achieves an increase in productivity by reducing cost excesses such as bottlenecks, times, lack of work standardization and disorder. This solution can be used in small and medium-sized flour companies, likewise, it can be implemented in large companies with the benefit that it helps to have a continuous improvement of the process. Obtaining as a result an increase in the productivity index from 1.39 to 1.80, improving the goal established by the company and reducing losses by 84%.
