In the following Professional Sufficiency Work (PSW), the effect of opening a new restaurant in the San Borja district, owned by a US brand of traditional food, on the supply chain area was analyzed. The current situation of the business was contrasted with the solutions proposed by the involved areas, with the aim of complementing the solution or proposing more effective alternatives with better resource utilization. The problematic situation revolves around a lack of inventory management model, leading to stockouts and overstocking issues. There was also a lack of an efficient communication system between the operations, supply chain, and warehouse areas, which increased the risk of the previously mentioned issues. Finally, there was no sales projection analysis being conducted to improve operational management. The goal was to ensure that the alternatives were closely related to the objectives.
