The project consists of improving the dissemination of events related to the Melgarejo huaca, focused on its revaluation and taught by the Municipality of La Molina for the residents of the area. It also includes a visual identity proposal with the aim of separating cultural events, distributed throughout the entity, from other more institutional themes and redirecting graphic communication to make it more attractive for the user. It is based on the hypothesis that, through the graphic design and communication strategy, the dissemination of events related to Melgarejo can be improved. The goal is to get a significant number of residents to attend. The project was executed through a design vision focused on the target, where their context, tastes, needs and motivations were analyzed. To do this, ethnographic and contextual research methodologies were used, through observation and advertising design and visual identity design processes. The visual identity proposal was made focused on the target audience and was applied to the graphic advertising pieces, which were refocused from digital to traditional advertising. The validations carried out, both by experts (one focused on editorial design and the other on advertising) and the focus group carried out with users, demonstrate that the proposal is focused on the needs of parents and that the communication was transmitted correctly through an action-oriented design that adequately disseminates Melgarejo’s events.
