The following project consists of a webpage redesign and a design of graphics for social media proposal for the Digipadres initiative, which provides parents and teachers information about the different kinds of cyber risks kids and teens are exposed to on the internet. The basis of this project is the premise that the extensive information that the webpage presents at the moment can be summarized through graphics, giving readers content that can be digested more efficiently due to their limited time schedules. This project is focused on the user, parents, analyzing their current knowledge on cybersecurity, their needs and preferences. To do as such, this project uses documentation and in-field methodologies, as well as design strategies and specific processes of UX/UI and information design. This design proposal consists of a webpage prototype, which includes a landing page, sections and informative articles, and posts for ESET’s social media, founder of the initiative, which would encourage parents to visit the webpage. The validation phase carried out with both experts on the field and users indicates that the proposal correctly responds to the needs raised, creating a synthesis of understandable information on the webpage, and an attractor for parents on social media.
