The Professional Sufficiency work entitled: “Optimization of the mining plan for long-term underground and surface exploitation of the Romina project”, aims to optimize the current mining plan of the project presented by an external consulting firm. This strategy to develop the optimal mining plan will indicate what must be taken into consideration so that it can be carried out in the field and thus obtain the planned values. It will also show the different variables, requirements or restrictions that directly influence the development of the mine. mining plan that if not considered will decrease the probability of success in achieving our stated objectives. This work does not focus on the topic of blasting, truck calculation, obtaining grades and classification of materials to be determined. But it is explained in a superficial way and shows the importance of considering it within long-term mining plans and the respective implications that arise from not keeping them in mind. The main objective of the work is to optimize a mining plan already prepared by an external consulting firm. To carry out this optimization, specific objectives are required, which are to determine the preparation design, calculate the KPIs and the number of fleets, determine the reserves. of mineral and the NPV. Obtaining a positive NPV as a result and thus generating an optimization in the mining plan.
