In Peru, telecommunications companies are in tough competition to offer the end user an optimal service. However, these service companies show a need to improve compliance with standards established by the client and the response capacity to resolve problems. Given this situation, a research study was carried out in a call center that had a service level of 51%, being below the average service level of the sector (80%). For this reason, the main problem was analyzed, identifying that there was a delay in customer service and an inefficient service procedure. The present research study proposed a continuous improvement model of the PDCA cycle that supported solution tools, such as 5S and Work Standardization. The 5S helped to classify and categorize the category tree, facilitating the advisor's work, the ticket folder was systematically cleaned, templates were generated in configured fields to speed up ticket registration, and audits were carried out to ensure compliance with the new process. On the other hand, work standardization improved the user service process, because activities that did not add value to the current process were eliminated, advisors were trained, and new work procedures were documented. With the implementation of the aforementioned techniques, it was possible to increase the service level to 82%, proving to be a project that benefited the company under study.
