Currently, every company wants to generate higher profit margins and compete in the labor market in each area where it is located. It is for this reason that Peruvian animal feed companies have a series of internal deficiencies that lead to serious problems. According to Velasquez, he affirms that they have identified that the main problem is low productivity. [1] as well as long waiting and reprocessing times. In this case, the MYPES represent 47.7% of the economy, it is for this reason, that the research arises from the need to want to increase the percentage of efficiency in the production of balanced feed. This article is based on a continuous improvement model to increase efficiency through lean tools, better known as a work philosophy to improve and optimize production systems; such as the standardization of work (SW), the application of TPM, 5s and finally the SMED tool. Likewise, considering the evolution of change management, efficiency will increase by 85%, given that in the current situation the operability is 35% lower than expected. Through simulations, we will present a model proposal to demonstrate the results of the company in the case study. The solution proposal focuses on the grouping of lean manufacturing tools in the Deming cycle. It will be shown that the operability of the machinery will improve, where as a consequence it will be reflected in the increase in productivity.
