The present research aims to improve the purchasing processes to ensure the proper supply of internal goods and services of a logistics sector company in Peru. The TLI group is a company that offers customs, warehouse, and transport services through its three business units managed by TECNIADUANA, on which we will base our case study. Within this administrative unit is the corporate purchasing area, where there currently exists a bottleneck that prevents the efficient supply of supplies to its business units. To this end, it is proposed, through the correct application of Lean and Six Sigma theories, to design and implement an integrated system for this area, with the aim of centralizing the requirements of the corporate group and generating traceability of the same, which in turn will be reinforced with the updating of its procedures and the measurement of the area’s performance through KPIs, which together will function as a functional strategy for the company. It is expected that, once this requirement channel is correctly implemented and the procedures are properly updated, accompanied by the application of the proposed theories, the company will be able to increase its productivity, reduce costs, decrease the valuation of its existing inventories, and simplify its workflows to improve its profitability and competitiveness in the market.
