The study of the interactions of wind currents and their influence on high-rise buildings is the main premise of this research. The city itself is classified as type C, due to the scarce presence of buildings considered extremely tall. On the other hand, this article addresses a second issue of utmost importance, which is the urgent need to cover a growing demand for housing by Peruvian families in a context where there is no longer land available in the city to build horizontal buildings, leaving the construction of vertical buildings as the only alternative. Likewise, in order to construct buildings of such dimensions, as part of the criteria for structural design, the incidence of seismic loads is evaluated as the main axis of the structure. On the other hand, based on the results achieved in this research, simulated and controlled tests of virtual wind tunnels were carried out on the proposed models of the type buildings, using the CFD analysis function of the Robot Structural software, which allows simulating very close to the real environmental conditions and the results are quite accurate. Likewise, the design of the buildings also took into account the guidelines of the American code ASCE 7/16, which is used in the USA for the design of tall buildings in areas affected by hurricanes of great intensity and destructive capacity.
