The Cusco brand Killa Fiber, with roots in the promotion of Andean textile culture, has managed to stand out in the national fashion industry. During the pandemic, the opportunity arose to participate in Vancouver Fashion Week, an event that focused on innovative companies. The “The art of knitting“ campaign was developed with a theoretical-practical approach, combining creativity, storytelling and an effective digital strategy. Planning included a robust “Brand Awareness” plan, highlighting attributes and benefits, and a modern visual strategy. The theoretical-practical integration was reflected in the use of insights and brand ambassadors for a closer connection with the public. In addition, the creation of effective engagement was prioritized to cultivate audience loyalty. The strategy was oriented towards remembering in the minds of users, seeking significant interaction and notable growth of followers on the various social media platforms. Global acceptance at the international event generated opportunities, increasing brand value and leading to the opening of a digital branch for the American and Canadian public. In conclusion, the campaign has managed to unite ancestral Cusco art with current fashion trends, highlighting the creative and cultural value. This case highlights the importance of well-executed strategies in promoting cultural identity internationally, offering significant opportunities for the brand and contributing to the development of design industries in the country.
