Between 2021 and 2022, leading telecommunications companies in Peru lost market share, allowing new fiber optic companies to emerge. Since speed was a lacking factor in the market, Claro launched the “Speed + Stability“ campaign to stand out. The objective was for the public to associate Claro with speed and improve their perception of service quality. A 360° media approach was used with the participation of a public figure, Luis Advíncula, to achieve greater reach. Claro sought to achieve a minimum satisfaction level of 58%, compared to 48% the previous year and competitors such as Entel and Bitel. The campaign was carried out through market research, analysis of Claro's image, development of media plans and the inclusion of public figures. The strategic approach focused on relating the speed of the service to a celebrity, in this case, Luis Advíncula, known for his skill and speed in soccer. Although Advíncula had previously been used by Entel, its participation in Claro's campaign was successful, highlighting the lack of research on the synergy between traditional and digital media and public figures. As a result, Claro led the market in the first quarter of 2023, with an increase of 13.11% compared to the previous period, meeting the campaign objectives.
