The objective of this study is to analyze whether there is a relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance in companies in the restaurant sector located in the districts of Miraflores and Barranco in the year 2023. The research adopts a qualitative approach and follows a Non-experimental, cross-sectional design, with an applied orientation and an explanatory scope. To collect the data, a survey with a Likert-type scale was used, which was validated through the reliability measure by Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient. A simple random sample technique was applied to 236 participants who work in the 11 best rated restaurants according to Caiado (2022) and the list of the 50 best restaurants in the world in the districts of Miraflores and Barranco. The target population was made up of 631 employees belonging to the operating core. The results of the tests, including the Nagelkerke Coefficient (Value = 0.328) and the estimate of the parameter (Value = -4,559), indicate that there is a significant level of influence by the organizational commitment variable in relation to the performance of the employees. collaborators.
