This research work addresses the problem associated with the high percentage of defective products in a clothing production company in its various stages. Through the research conducted and analysed, it is intended to reduce the percentage of defective products to be more competitive, save costs and not lose market share. Likewise, this in-depth analysis will allow us to identify technological and methodological gaps, deficient processes and new strategies to follow the path of a world-class production, all this hand in hand with the Lean methodology, which has been very well analyzed and detailed over time and by various industries. Finally, with the development of this methodology throughout the described process, efficiencies have been identified, processes have been standardized and defective products have been reduced in a sustainable and systematic way. Furthermore, the results obtained allow us to conclude that the standardization of processes supported by Lean allows significant improvements in various industries and applications.
