The company Miromina S.A. is dedicated to the mechanical metal sector, whose main activity is sales and imports. Thus, companies seek to improve their profitability and minimize errors in order to optimize their competitiveness. In the company in question, a series of problems are identified in the dispatch and delivery process. For this reason, the research proposed three strategies that can minimize these errors, which were the Poka Yoke, Fifo and Lean Six Sigma methodology, aimed mainly at the warehouse area, the quality area and the sales area. Regarding the Lean Six Sigma methodology, the problem related to the quality area was identified, implementing a series of proposals that will reduce the possible causes of defective products and the lack of verification, among which the training of collaborators that will be accompanied stood out. of the acquisition of products that allow adequate calibration of the products. Finally, the Poka Yoke methodology was chosen, which was implemented in the storage area. Initially, the main problems that were causing this area were recognized. After that, solutions were identified, such as labeling by caliber of the tubes and the use of colors to identify the thickness of the plates. Through this, a 23.5% reduction in claims was established.
