The purpose of this Professional Sufficiency Work is to identify the challenges and present solutions to optimize the organizational redesign of a family business in the meat sector in Lima. The company faces challenges in its structure, and this study aims to identify effective solutions, increase the efficiency and competitiveness of the company. The applied research methodology is based on a qualitative approach that involves the exhaustive review of bibliographic sources, direct observation and conducting interviews with personnel who occupy strategic positions within the organization. One of the main findings was to determine that, although the organization has a bureaucratic structure, in daily practice it operates more like a simple structure. Additionally, there is a concentration of authority in the organizational hierarchy, with a lack of autonomy in the middle line and evident challenges in internal communication. Thus, alternative solutions are proposed such as organizational redesign, empowerment of the middle line and the implementation of quality circles. This study offers valuable guidance for those organizations seeking to strengthen their organizational structure and competitiveness.
