The digital transformation process of public entities seeks to make the web systems of each entity more effective and efficient for users through the correct use of information technologies and established guidelines. In the year 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several administrative processes that were performed in person in public entities became digital to provide timely attention to users. For this reason, this paper addresses a problematic situation present in a public entity in Peru, which is responsible for regulating and managing customs procedures for the development of foreign trade. The problem is based on the replications of the information present in the entity that the users and foreign trade operators visualize in the web portal since the pandemic. For this reason, this work develops three alternative solutions that allow users and operators of foreign trade to observe truthful information associated with customs processes and foreign trade statistics. Finally, it highlights the importance of the strategy to improve public management in the entity through better internal communication between organizational units, control of agreements and deadlines established in meetings, and greater knowledge about the development of web portals in state entities. This will optimize the digital strategies of the customs administration and have a positive impact on the perception of users and foreign trade operators on the information provided by the entity.
