The present research focuses on addressing the challenge of the high rate of nonconforming products in a printing company dedicated to the manufacture of printing products, aiming to establish a proposal for improvement through the implementation of Lean tools, including Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, VSM, SMED, Poka-Yoke and others, which could improve production efficiency and reduce the amount of nonconforming products. These tools would be used to optimize production, reduce setup time, eliminate errors, and improve organization and cleanliness in the work environment. The projected results suggest that, if the investment in the improvements through the Lean tools were made, the company could experience a positive Net Present Value (NPV), an acceptable Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and a Payback Period (payback period) of approximately 11 months. It is estimated that the total benefit would amount to S/. 106,353.98, and the amount of nonconforming products would be reduced to less than 1%, which would improve the quality and efficiency of the production processes. In conclusion, this research supports the viability of the investment and suggests that the implementation of Lean tools can lead to lasting operational and economic improvements in the printing company.
