In this project, an IPTV network was designed using unlicensed wireless broadband technology in the municipality of Huaricolca-Tarma to provide virtual classes to the school student population. This project consists of transmitting videos on demand from a remote server to the tablets of the students who are at home. This would help and solve a problem that was visualized and intensified even more when the pandemic occurred. In this way, students will have access to a library of videos that will reinforce the limited classes that their tablets contain. The ITU-T H.264 standard was met in the design of the server storage capacity. For the design of the wireless link, the ITU-R P.530, ITU-R P.526 and ITU-R P.525.2 standards were met. For the quality of service in IPTV (QoS), the ITU-T G.1080 standard was met. To design the wireless network using the geographic coordinates, the simulation was performed with the LINKPLANNER software. After analyzing the results, the necessary equipment was chosen. The IPTV system was implemented using a server, a router, an Access Point (ePMP1000), a Subscriber (Force 180) and a Wifi Access Point. After configuring the entire system, it was possible to validate the theoretical calculations obtained, as well as the size of SD video in H.264, the bitrate of the SD video in playback, throughput required per link and the quality of service. The Cambium Network software of configuration, test, and monitoring was used, as well as the CnMaestro software.
