Soil response analysis provides an insight into the behavior of soils under seismic loading, which involves a large number of variables that determine the nonlinear behavior of the soil. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the representativeness of the seismic amplification values governed by the Peruvian Seismic Design Code E.030 (2020). The development is based on a linear equivalent analysis in several geotechnical profiles of the Peruvian territory. The analysis starts with the collection of seismic signals occurred in Peru, which were treated using the SeimoSignal software. The treatment and scaling is based on the E.030 Standard according to the time-history analysis. Likewise, geotechnical profiles were copiled with geophysical survey tests and 03 seismic records were spectrally adjusted with the use of DeepSoil software. Subsequently, a comparison of the results obtained from the site response analysis with the parameters stipulated in the E.030 Standard for the response spectrum was carried out in order to evaluate if the latter adequately adjusts to the response of each soil type. The results showed discrepancies in the ranges of the average values of VS30 that this standard considers for soil classification and the factors that determine the ranges of the design spectrum.
