Low hydraulic performance is a problem that affects cultivations in Lima Sur. The existence and importance of this problem was validated by experts through a questionnaire. For this problem, a technical guide is proposed based on the analysis of hydraulic performance parameters to increase hydraulic performance by promoting the adoption of the drip irrigation system, which is the most efficient irrigation system. The hydraulic parameters were evaluated in an existing grape cultivation, and the following results were obtained: 90.57% in EU (emission uniformity), 0.07 in CV (coefficient of variation), 9.43% in EFV (emitter flow variation), and 93.61% in CU (uniformity coefficient). All are in acceptable and excellent ranges according to the American Society of Agricultural Engineering (ASAE), which demonstrate that the field design has good performance, which supports the claim that drip irrigation has high efficiency. Likewise, the existing cultivation was modeled in the Watercad software, and the MAPE (mean absolute percentage error) was used to compare the real crop with the modeled one, obtaining the value of 6.53%, which, being less than 10%, indicates a high correlation between cultivation and design. Finally, the parameters obtained were presented in a concise technical guide for reading by people in charge of adopting future irrigation systems, to convince them to take drip irrigation into account in their next projects, in order to have good hydraulic performances.
