The financial technology industry is experiencing accelerated growth in the Latin American region. In this context, the financial institution under study in this paper is presented, which promotes the use of cell phones to perform transactions with customers. However, the high demand for new features in the mobile application coupled with an inefficient architecture design generate many incidents which lead to a long attention time that impacts the usability of the final product. The objective of the following work is to develop a new mobile application that performs transactions with customers of the financial institution, improving the quality of use and maintainability of the previous version. To this end, the project is approached with the use of the Flutter SDK applying a new architecture model based on the Model View Controller (MVC) pattern and the GetX state management pattern. Likewise, the user interfaces are updated to adapt them to the new identity guidelines of the financial institution and interactive visual components are included using Flutter libraries. The tests carried out during the pilot of the new mobile application with 4 correspondents showed a reduction in the number of incidents, as well as in the time it took to attend to them compared to the previous version. Finally, thanks to the evaluation carried out with the Granollers 15 heuristic principles model, it was concluded that the application offers an optimal user experience.
