The demand for palm oil in Peru has experienced a conspicuous growth over the past two decades, primarily concentrated in the regions of Huánuco, Loreto, San Martín, and Ucayali. Nevertheless, despite these advancements and Peru's prominent position in global palm cultivation, it is estimated that over 60% of the demand for vegetable oils and their derivatives is met through imports. Despite the substantial reliance on palm oil imports, the expansive momentum witnessed in these regions has generated a growing demand for derivative products, including palm stearin fat. This phenomenon presents both an opportunity and a challenge for numerous companies involved in this industry. Therefore, this research project focused on implementing an automated plant for the formulation of palm stearin fat, ensuring a production of over 2400 liters per hour while maintaining the quality of the final product and complying with all standards, norms, and regulations ensuring the safety of processed foods. In conclusion, the project was successfully implemented, meeting the established process values and achieving 100% of the required process speed.
