Planning in multifamily building projects is of vital importance, since in this way problems such as schedule delays, cost overruns, among other problems, are avoided. In this sense, clearly defining the scope allows establishing limits, objectives, and goals of only the work required for the project to be developed successfully and avoiding problems that arise in the execution stages. One of the most used tools in the planning stage is the work breakdown structure (WBS), which allows the total scope of the project to be broken down into smaller deliverables and at its last level are the work packages. The present research is based on designing a technical guide to improve the development of the WBS structure based on the requirements of the main stakeholders in the planning stage and thus minimize scope problems in the execution stage. and closure. Likewise, in the research a survey No. 01 is developed, with the purpose of validating the problem and the possibility of applying a technical guide and a survey No. 02 to validate the final design of the guide and its effectiveness.
