In Peru, 467,778 constructions have been carried out during 2021 (INEI,2021), of which the different civil works require the use of piles and deep foundations. Therefore, in the present investigation, the comparative analysis of the load capacity was carried out using traditional methods and numerical methods of piles. According to the method of Décourt & Quaresma and Aoki – Velloso and modeling in the Flac program of the construction of the German Guzmán hospital, Oxapampa. These methods are a function of the number of blows obtained in the SPT test and parameters in relation to the geotechnical characteristics (soil classification, humidity, plastic limit presented by the study area. There are various methodologies for calculating load capacity and analyzing numerical and traditional methods in piles, using factors and coefficients that are obtained from the theory of each method. Regarding the procedure carried out to meet the proposed objectives, it will begin with the calculation of traditional methods in such a way that it meets the parameters, established diameters (0.30, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80 meters) and length of 10 meters; Consequently, the type of pile will be determined according to its material and construction process in the Flac program using the characteristics to carry out the pre-sizing of the pile, and the comparison of the results of the methods. Finally, it is concluded that according to the selected diameters and the results obtained through the calculations and the Flac program, working with the pile of 0.40 m and a length of 10 meters since it meets all the parameters and according to Standard E0.50 is of greater security in a construction. When designing a pile it is advisable to evaluate its load capacity with at least 3 methods, in order to choose the most conservative value and be more exact.
