In Peru, every year more importance is being given to the maintenance and improvement of road corridors, this will help us to reduce the logistic costs of products in Peru. Within these corridors, there are several companies bidding to execute them. As there is more competition, companies have to adjust prices in their budgets to win these bids, which directly affects operating costs. One of the methods to optimize operating costs is to increase the efficiency in the productivity of the work. The present work of professional sufficiency seeks to improve productivity in the improvement of the Tacna road corridor, focusing on labor productivity, through the use of the Lean Construction philosophy. Through this study, we use the Last Planner System methodology, where a comparison of the evolution of productivity values is made. The work of professional sufficiency begins by defining concepts, after which the most critical item is selected according to an analysis of them. After that, an analysis of the current planning of the project is carried out and a new planning is proposed, using the Last Planner System methodology within the Lean philosophy. Finally, after the application of both, a comparison of productivity ratios based on labor is made. With which satisfactory results are obtained and it can be affirmed that this methodology works efficiently in road projects.
