Because of the constant growth of urban populations, construction in general have increased, such as health buildings, consequently, the need to use land located even on slopes and at the foot of rocky slopes has been growing. Therefore, the need arises to stabilize the slopes formed naturally or artificially, with the placement of anchored walls being one of the alternatives that allows stabilizing the slopes that serve to give stability to the vertical slopes and without affecting the neighboring constructions. In the present research work, a comparison will be made between the limit equilibrium method and the finite element method, which will be used in the analysis of the stability of rock slopes through the placement of anchored walls in the construction of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital located in Cerro de Pasco to determine which is the most efficient. For the limit equilibrium method, Slide software will be used, which is used to analyze the stability of slopes by determining the safety factor (FS) of the failure surfaces, and for the finite element method, the PLAXIS software will be used which serves to solve problems with a high degree of complexity. Limit equilibrium and finite element methods are very different, however, If it was possible to make a comparison between both methods through the comparison of the safety factors and the verification of the construction processes for placing the anchored wall.
