This study sought to reduce the excess delay of the assembly process in tricycles, applying the Lean Logistics methodology. For which, management indicators were established for each proposed objective, these being: % delay in the assembly process, Tool search time, Work flow efficiency, Process cycle time and Downtime due to lack of materials. Managing to apply the 5'S and VSM methodology in order to respond to these objectives. The excess delay in the tricycle assembly process was reduced through the implementation of the Lean Logistics methodology, evidenced by the delay percentage indicator that went from 45% to 35%, optimizing the distribution of the work area by reducing the times for unnecessary movements, going from 18.3 minutes to 10.5 minutes, increasing standardization in the process, reducing the time spent in said process, going from 240 minutes to 160 minutes. Likewise, the arrangement of work tools was improved, ensuring that The time spent searching for them was reduced from 13.5 to 10.3 minutes, as well as inventory management was improved, since the time between requesting and receiving materials when they are not in stock was reduced, moving this indicator from 35.67 minutes to only 12.33 minutes.
