The present research work establishes the incidence of rainwater captured with the SCAPT system in the city of Chilca - Huancayo. It is proposed to consider the use of rainfall for spending on toilets, laundry and irrigation, this treatment being ecological, non-polluting, helping environmental conservation and sustainability. To meet the objective, it was necessary to obtain precipitation data from the most reliable sources we have in the environment and to visit the research site in person. We spoke with the population and proceeded to develop a survey to obtain the necessary data in order to propose the implementation of a rainwater collection system in each house so that they can use it for irrigation, laundry and drainage and thus be able to determine saving drinking water that could serve other houses outside the Chilca district. As a result of the on-site surveys, it was learned that Chilca only has 3 hours of water a day on average and the population became accustomed to it, contenting themselves with filling some water containers for daily use, thus decreasing the quality of life. of the population. The surveys also showed the population's acceptance of the rainwater harvesting proposal as an alternative solution to the water problem.
