Process digitalization for International Commerce in Peru is getting stronger over the last few years. Due to the arrival of covid pandemic, customs authorities, and other international commerce agents, have been forzed to update their own procedures and also to adapt to currently digital processes. Unfortunately, our country was not prepared for this kind of events. The limited capacity of customs authorities generated several inconveniences and in consequence a lot of incidences in comparison with other nations around the world, which were looking the way to adapt to the circunstances such as: us of digital plattforms, documents digitalization, block chain application at Port, customs and logistics operations in order to comply with their activities in international commerce. For that reason, the aim of this research refers to understand how processes digitalization of sea customs at Callao Port, interacts with international commerce agents between the period 2020-2021. The methodology applied in this research is qualitative of grounded theory with exploratory character. It was developed with data collection through in-depth interviews to different entities representants related to international commerce. This research contains six chapters. Theorical framework is detailed in the first one. It contains national and international background together with their related theories. The second chapter refers to the aims, hypothesis, and justification of this investigation. Additionally, the third one develops the methodology design and its restrictions. In the fourth chapter, the development of the research with qualitative focus is appreciated. The analysis of the results are showed in the fifth chapter. Finally, the last chapter describes the conclusions and recommend dations for this research, which proves that digitalization impacted positively in customs processes and in international commerce agents, who are involved in sea operations.
