The research carried out allowed to verify that Organizational Culture (OC) has an impact on Educational Performance (EP) of teachers at a technological higher education institution (THEI) in Peru. The OC is one of the most valuable assets because it allows understanding how any organization works, as well as its management and improvement (Schein, 2004). These aspects contour the frame that determine the development of its collaborators’ activities (Aydin, 2018). In fact, it affects their performance. The OC evaluation and its impact on EP allow to educational institutions reach their strategical development in response to the permanent change in their environment, although this perspective seems not to be included in their mission yet (Yopan Fajardo et al., 2020). Information was collected using quantitative methodology with questionnaires based on the Competing Values Framework (CVF) and the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) developed by Cameron and Quinn (2011), to find out teachers' perceptions of current and desired OC. The information regarding DD was collected through a survey developed according to the provisions of the Ministry of Education (MINEDU, 2020) for technological institutions, which was applied to the Academic Coordinators of the IEST. The correlational analysis allowed to infer that current OC, in which the Hierarchical typology predominates, has direct and proportional impact on EP. This work provides THEI managers with information on the current context in which they expect to achieve their strategic objectives, and it is the first paper that contributes to understanding the impact of OC on EP at the technological higher education level.
