The research topic "Impact of COVID-19 on the shopping behavior of Lima residents in ecommerce during 2020 to 2021" aims to determine how the pandemic affected the shopping behavior of the inhabitants of Lima - Peru, in ecommerce during the period between 2020 and 2021. The method employed in this study is qualitative and is classified as descriptive, which means that it seeks to obtain a detailed understanding of how the purchasing behavior of Lima residents in ecommerce was influenced by the COVID-19 crisis. Likewise, a non-experimental design of the cross-sectional type is used, which implies that the researchers do not manipulate variables or establish a control group. The population selected for this study is composed of Lima residents between 15 and 29 years of age who regularly make purchases over the Internet. These participants represent the specific target group to be investigated in relation to their ecommerce shopping behavior during the aforementioned time period. Also, the research instrument used is a questionnaire that has been validated by five experts. This ensures that the questionnaire is reliable and valid in terms of adequately measuring the relevant variables related to the ecommerce shopping behavior of Limeños during the study period.
