The purpose of this investigation is to determine the impact of the COSO 2013 on the liquidity in 4-5 stars hotels located in Miraflores, year 2021. This object of study was chosen because during the pandemic generated by COVID-19 one of the most affected businesses was the hotel industry. Having closed borders and having limited free transit between different cities in Perú, these companies stopped receiving the clients on which their economic sustainability depended, having, as a result, liquidity problems. This investigation was developed in five chapters. The first chapter, which is the Theoretical Framework, described all the background of our variables, COSO 2013 and liquidity, to support the research with information related to the economic sector. In the second chapter, Research Plan, the objectives, and hypotheses were formulated after giving a complete description of the problem. In the third chapter, Research Methodology, in which the population that will be used in our qualitative and quantitative research will be detailed. After this, in the fourth chapter, Research Development, the surveys were carried out and the interviews with 3 experts in the field and who are directly related to it were also developed. Finally, in the fifth chapter, Analysis of Results, the answers obtained from the interviews mentioned above were analyzed, and for the results of the surveys, the SPSS software was used, which allowed us validating the general and specific hypothesis.
