The present research work: Shrinkage control and its financial effect on the sales of companies in the textile sector of Comas in the year 2022, had as its main objective to explain the financial effect of shrinkage control on sales, where the show the normal and abnormal shrinkage that exist in this sector and how the control of these quantities affects sales. Thanks to the use of the SPSS system, it was possible to test the hypotheses and present the findings: First, the quantitative analysis allowed testing the general hypotheses, thus confirming that shrinkage control has a significant financial effect on sales of textile companies in the Comas district in the year 2022, by having and asymptotic significance of less than 0.05. In the same way, for specific hypothesis 1, a quantitative analysis was also carried out, which resulted in the confirmation that normal shrinkage has a significant financial effect on the sales of textile companies in the Comas district in the year 2022. Finally, for specific hypothesis 2, a quantitative analysis was also carried out through Pearson’s chi-square test, which confirmed that abnormal shrinkage has a significant financial effect on the sales of textile companies in the Comas district in the year 2022, by having an asymptotic significance of less than 0.05.
