Rice is one of the most consumed food worldwide, including South America and Peru is one of the countries with the highest consumption of this cereal. Despite the high demand for this food, currently the level of development of the agricultural sector, specifically rice, has not developed improvements in its production process, which has generated an increase in imports of this, since such external competitors offer the product at a lower price and better quality. The aforementioned situation causes the reduction of sales of local farmers, a discovered overproduction and therefore significant losses of money. That is why this research proposes an integral design of the process of planning, control and execution of rice production in the city of Camaná, Peru. For the development of the proposed model, the main process standardization techniques are applied, considering the application of good agricultural practices. The same ones that are supported by the Business Process Management (BPM) methodology, thanks to which it is possible to develop an approach that allows and facilitates the analysis, design and continuous improvement of the production process based on the SRP standard, which is a guide for the best rice producers worldwide.
