The present professional project proposes to reduce the level of raw material stock in a premix company for animals. The objective of the study is to develop an inventory management model based on the DDMRP in a company in the agro-industrial sector, in order to reduce the high level of inventory while maintaining a high level of service. The model is developed by implementing the DDMRP methodologies, the Holt Winter forecasting method and the integration of the areas through the S&OP methodology. The validation of the proposal is carried out through a simulation, the results show that, through the execution of the methodologies, the company will be able to reduce the inventory level by 43%, as well as improve logistics indicators such as coverage, inventory rotation and the percentage error of the forecast method. The problem described can occur in companies in the same sector and even in others that present a dynamic environment, so the research could be used to solve the problem and encourage future research that implements the model throughout the supply chain.
