This research is based on the study carried out by the authors, called “Maintenance Service Management Model Based on Vehicle Routing Problem and Time Study to Reduce Lead Time in an ATM Maintenance Company“ Chonate-Segura et al. (2022), which is applied in a security company in the banking sector, oriented to the operation of ATMs, focusing on expansion projects, corrective and preventive maintenance. The objective of the latter is to carry out maintenance based on an annual program provided by the client. For this reason, the investigation is based on non-compliance with the banking preventive maintenance schedule of the client ABC Continental between 2018 and 2019, due to inefficiency in the preventive maintenance process. This problem significantly impacts the utilities of XYZ Seguridad SAC. To do this, two main techniques are proposed. The first consists of the optimization of routes and the second in the standardization of processes. The project describes 4 chapters. The first, develops background information on the sector, identifies and formulates the problem, proposes a solution, adding a theoretical framework and state of the art. The second, develops a diagnosis of the current situation, analyzing the causes of the problem. Likewise, the company under study and the processes involved are described. The third chapter develops the process standardization tools and the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) of the proposed model. In the fourth chapter, the validations of the model are developed. In addition, the impacts of the research are shown. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are made.
