Objective: This report aims to describe the clinical characteristics, presumptive diagnoses, pharmacological and non-pharmacological management together with the possible complications presented in different clinical cases; selected for giving me the most significant learning in my experience as a medical intern, at the San Bartolomé Hospital and the Casimiro Ulloa Hospital during the period from June 2022 to February 2023. Methodology: A descriptive and analytical study based on the clinical experience obtained during the medical internship from June 2022 to February 2023 at the San Bartolomé Hospital and the Casimiro Ulloa Emergency Hospital. Results: 30 clinical cases collected and presented descriptively are described. The study allowed the recognition of the strengths and weaknesses of the establishments in question. Valuable learning was obtained, such as recognizing the capacity of hospitals to eagerly identify different pathologies. As well as difficulties in the care and quality of health services were reported due to the great demand of patients. Conclusions: This study describes the importance of the medical internship for the preparation and contribution of knowledge and values to the medical student to train excellent health care professionals. The internship is a unique experience that teaches as its main lesson the importance of teamwork to solve problems, the essentials of integral health care and the importance of knowing that you are dealing with people and not only with diseases.
