The purpose of this work was to improve the delivery time of finished products for a company in the metal-mechanic sector using Lean Manufacturing tools and standardization of work. After the analysis, it was identified as the delay in product delivery, its compliance indicator being 45%, which generated a loss of S/. 115,984.00, with a representation of 2.7% of its billing in the 2021 period. Likewise, this problem is due to reasons for reprocessing in the assembly of components with a representation of 59.51% and low availability of the cutting machine with 25.9%, being its causes the generation of cracks due to inadequate temperature and error in the assembly of pieces; and pressure instability and clogging in the cutting nozzles respectively. Given this scenario, the need to adopt Lean Manufacturing techniques and work standardization arises. As a result of the implementation, it was possible to reduce the reprocessed units from 4 to 1, assembly error from 2 to 1 and finally, the availability of the equipment was increased from 71% to 85%, according to the result of the cash flow, the project is highly feasible, since the Net Present Value (VAN) is S/54,088.59 and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 82%. Also, he has an IR of 3.34, which means that for every S/.1.00 invested, a profit of S/.2.34 is obtained.
