The objective of this research work is to propose a recommendation system for a hairdresser using facial recognition techniques. The purpose is to generate a differentiating factor with other hairdressers. With this proposal, it is intended to be able to make recommendations from a database of different hairstyles, so to get a recommendation a person have to take himself a photo and the recommendation system would predict which hairstyles would be best suited to the person's face. Although the issue of facial recognition has gained considerable relevance in recent years due to current issues, it does not have a practical use in Peru, where machine learning techniques are used to make haircut recommendations. For this reason, an investigation was carried out on research articles where they use different facial recognition alternatives and use techniques for classifying images; and with this to be able to have the necessary concepts to carry out studies on what current technological tools allow the use of these components. Resulting in tools like AWS Rekognition, Finally, all the architecture and some mock-ups were made to have a closer idea of the results of the project and with this a survey was carried out with some hairdressers and the owner of the company to guarantee that the requirements had been correctly identified and they met the need they had.
