At present, the work done in each company varies according to the economic activity of the same. In addition, there is a degree of risk posed by the tasks and functions performed by workers. This is how 36.1% of workers worldwide work more than the allowed hours, which implies a greater degree of physical activity and involves various risks both personally and professionally (ILO, 2019). However, not all jobs involve the same level of risk and exposure. These can occur in circumstances internal and external to the work environment. In addition, the type of risk is measured with respect to the severity that originates them. Workers continue to be exposed to undue risks, workplace accidents remain too frequent, and there are several work-related risk factors left unchecked, leading to preventable occupational injuries and illnesses. On the one hand, the highest proportion of current work-related deaths represents 86% that are caused by diseases (ILO, 2020). On the other hand, risk exposure involves a human cost and an economic burden on companies. The priority for the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases has been increasing, according to a study carried out by Marsh Peru in 2019, 63% of companies said that their priority point is to improve the working conditions. This in order to evidence and guarantee the health and safety of employees (Ruiz & Choroco, 2019) However, data collected by the International Labour Organization (ILO) on occupational accidents in Peru indicate that more than 2.78 million deaths occurred in circumstances of accidents at work and/or illnesses, as well as 374 million injuries (ESAN, 2020). Under this scenario, there is a mitigating need to implement a system and / or technological tool that facilitates the area responsible for preventing existing risks in the workplace and is able to couple with the integral management of the company.
