The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between teleworking and the job performance of teachers in private secondary schools in Metropolitan Lima in 2020 as a result of the mandatory isolation caused by COVID-19. A questionnaire was used as a quantitative research instrument, which was applied to a sample of 377 teachers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria determined. The results obtained were studied with a statistical analysis with Cronbach's Alpha tests, Kolmogorov - Smirnov and Spearman. As a result, we obtained that there is a direct relationship between teleworking and the work performance of teachers in private secondary schools in Metropolitan Lima for the year 2020. In addition, the main dimensions of teleworking that are related to performance were found. In first place, the social and physical work environment that includes the bond with colleagues, the availability of technological equipment and an adequate environment for the execution of their daily functions. Second, the personal life that includes the relationship and balance between work and home, the number of people who were in the same place of isolation and the support of the immediate environment.
