Introduction: Unwanted pregnancy (UWP) and intimate partner violence are considered public health problems worldwide due to their prevalence and repercussions on maternal and child health. These were aggravated during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the government measures implemented. Methodology: Cross-sectional analytical study secondary to ENDES 2020. The study population was women who reported being pregnant at the time of the interview. The main independent variables were physical, emotional, and sexual partner violence measured by CTS-2, and the dependent variable was unwanted pregnancy. Categorical variables were described by frequencies and 95% CI, while age by mean and standard deviation. For the bivariate analysis, the Pearson Chi-square test with Rao-Scott correction and the Wald test were used, as appropriate. In the multivariable analysis, the generalized linear model (glm) of the Poisson family, link log, was used, and the PR was calculated. Results: Sexual violence by the partner at some time in life is associated with unwanted pregnancy in pregnant women (RPa 3.07 95% CI 1.55; 6.06 p= 0.001), no significant association was found with physical or emotional violence. The percentage of UWP was 36.26% and that of physical, emotional and sexual partner violence was 12.3%, 12.7% and 1.8% respectively. Conclusions: In pregnant women, sexual violence by a partner in life was significantly associated with unwanted pregnancy.
